The Murphy's Rules strips in The Space Gamer (and much later in Pyramid IIRC) were generally pretty funny.

ReplyDeleteYes, when talking or dealing with monsters that was the % chance that they were lying to you. So instead of the originally intended 25% chance of being in the lair, due to the typo in OD&D, Arduin wemt with 25% chance they are lying.
